The successful candidate must have a minimum of eight years of experience designing lighting, power, fire alarm and other low voltage systems. A strong electrical design background is required. The candidate must have a BS in Electrical Engineering, have excellent verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and have experience with AutoCADD, Microsoft Word and Excel. PE registration required. General responsibilities include: production of contract documents (drawings and specifications), developing CAD drawings, review shop drawings / submittals, research codes, survey existing facilities to obtain design information, visit construction sites to observe installation of design and coordinate technical issues with other disciplines.
