| Experience Joe joined John Clark Hudson and Associates (Sardis, MS) in May of 1980 as an Electrical Designer. During his eight and one half years with this firm, Joe provided lighting, power and low voltage system designs on a wide variety of projects including Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Government and Religious facilities. Joe was involved with projects that ranged in size from $500K - $5M in total construction dollars. Joe joined Smith Seckman Reid (Nashville, TN) in November of 1988 as a Senior Electrical Designer and project manager. In this position, he was responsible for designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities on the east coast of the United States. Joe’s duties included lighting, power and low voltage systems design including fault current, selective breaker coordination studies and analysis of electrical systems designed on his team. Joe was also responsible for the construction administration of all projects that he designed. During his tenure with this firm Joe completed his electrical engineering degree. Joe was involved with projects that ranged in size from $5M - $120M in total construction dollars. Joe joined Gene Burton and Associates (Franklin, TN) in November of 1997 as a Senior Communications Planner. Gene Burton and Associates is a medical equipment and communications planning firm specializing in the design of Healthcare facilities. In this position, he was responsible for designing and managing the communication and low voltage system needs for project. During his tenure with this firm Joe was involved with projects that ranged in size from $12M - $580M in total construction dollars. Joe joined The McCarty Company, Design Group (Tupelo, MS) in January of 1999 as an Electrical Engineer. The McCarty Company, Design Group is an architectural and engineering firm specializing in services for Healthcare, Institutional, Government, Commercial and Industrial clients. Joe’s duties included lighting, power and low voltage systems design including fault current, selective breaker coordination studies and analysis of electrical systems designed for all projects. Joe was also responsible for the construction administration on all projects that he designed. Joe was promoted to Chief Electrical Engineer in January 2001. Joe has been involved with projects that ranged in size from $500K - $12M in total construction dollars. |
